HP400

Portable Plant  about 500 hours

Base plant consisting of the chassis, HP400 Nordberg Cone Crusher, crusher mounting, motor support mounting, control & operators platforms, crusher drive guard, under crusher hopper assembly, crusher lube system, hydraulic circuit, and hydraulic unit mounting.

Rear discharge conveyor features channel frame construction with herringbone, vulcanize-lagged head pulley and wing type foot pulley. Belt speed is 350 FPM.

·                    20 HP TEFC electric motor - 1800 RPM, 460 volt, 3 phase, 60 Hertz.

·                    Dodge TXT515 torque-arm speed reducer, backstop and guarded V-belt drive.

·                    12" diameter head pulley with 2-15/16" 1045 CFR shafting and ball bearing pillow blocks.   12" diameter foot pulley with 3-7/16" 1045 CFR shafting and ball bearing pillow blocks.

·                    CEMA "C" 5" diameter troughing idlers, impact idlers at load point.  CEMA "C" 4" diameter rubber disc return idlers.   #330 PIW belt with 3/16" x 1/16" covers and mechanical splice.

Primary type belt scraper with a single segmented blade. A tensioner on one end of the scraper provides scraping force against the belt while providing shock relief for mechanical fasteners or belt imperfections.

HP400 Nordberg Cone Crusher, equipped with manganese steel crushing members, bronze bearings and replaceable main frame seat liners. Features hydraulic bowl clamping and adjustment, automatic tramp iron release and hydraulic clearing of crusher chamber. Remote control station mounted to side of plant allows convenient operation from grade.

Additional HP cone features include: packaged lubrication system consisting of an independent pump, oil pressure switch, temperature switch, oil tank with strainer, oil level gauge, thermometers at three locations, 4 kW oil heater with control panel (customer must supply a power source for oil tank heater unless optional electrics are selected), oil filter and oil cooler (air-radiator type). Guard for V-belt crusher drive and crusher tools.

The Crusher Feed Basket is a weldment which sits over the feed opening, it directs material into the crusher feed opening and reduces spillage. The feed basket is made of 1/4" mild steel with a 3/8" base plate. Windows with steel mesh inserts allow the operator to view the material level in the feed basket. Chains are provided to anchor the feed basket to the feed conveyor, preventing the feed basket from rotating out of position when crusher adjustments are made. The feed basket is typically removed for highway towing.

Overflow chute: A steel trough that bolts to the side of the crusher feed basket. When a crusher receives more material than it can crush, the excess is directed to a discharge conveyor, bypassing the crusher. The chute is 17" wide and constructed from 1/4" mild steel. Because overflows should be rare occurrences, AR liners are not required or offered.

Heavy duty chassis for semi-trailer towing. Main beams are ASTM A36, 24" deep wide flange I-beams. Chassis includes integral under crusher hopper with 3/8" AR steel liner strips, and control & operator's platforms with ladders. Includes travel lights, mud flaps, and chassis identification.

Triple axle spring suspension with 11:R24.5 load range "H" tires on Budd type wheels. The axles are spaced at 49" with a 92" track width (measured C-C of duals). Includes air brakes.

A foldable platform used to service the crusher. The platform and railing fold to reduce the towing width of the plant. Two platforms, one on each side of the crusher, are provided for rear discharge (RD) plants. The platform includes a diamond plate walking surface, toe boards, safety railing and ladder.

Options

Lifting Jacks - Four jacklegs with 6" diameter x 18" stroke cylinders lift the plant into the operating position. Each cylinder is independently controlled from a hydraulic valve for precise control and ease of leveling.
